Adam Venson

Customer Service Administrator

Adam is the first point of contact for enquiries and processing referrals for people living with sight loss.

In his role as Customer Service Administrator, Adam manages incoming calls and emails, supporting queries about referrals, equipment and delivery times. He also processes all referrals, ensuring each person receives the most suitable equipment to meet their needs and maximise the benefit they gain from our service.

Adam brings over four years’ experience in the third sector, alongside a strong background in administration. A highlight of his career was working with the Royal United Hospitals Bath charity, where he supported fundraising for a new cancer centre, officially opened by Queen Camilla in 2024. He is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, reflecting his commitment to supporting people and recognising the importance of mental wellbeing.

Known for his strong people skills and attention to detail, Adam enjoys engaging with the wide range of individuals who contact the charity and takes pride in ensuring every interaction is positive and helpful.

Adam says, “What I love most about my time here is hearing how the devices we provide can change someone’s life. They help people stay connected and independent, and knowing I’ve played a small part in that makes me feel incredibly proud.”

Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with friends, going to football matches as a dedicated Barnsley FC supporter, heading out on walks, and attending live music concerts.
