Lindsey Mack
Trustee
Lindsey Mack became a Trustee in 2018. She brings extensive experience from a long career in radio broadcasting.
Lindsey was raised and educated in Malawi, after which she began a career in British broadcasting. Most of her working life has been with the BBC, with more than 20 years working specifically in radio and digital audio.
As Senior Manager for BBC Sounds and DAB (digital audio broadcasting), Lindsey is currently developing strategy for the future of radio and audio, working with a range of partners including commercial radio and European broadcasters, government, regulators and radio device makers.
Alongside fellow BWBF Trustees Gerry Thorn and Quentin Howard, Lindsey has been instrumental in the success of DAB digital radio. Her many achievements include helping drive the take up of digital radio, and the launch of the UK’s first ever digital-only pop-up radio stations. She was instrumental in setting up a BBC campaign during the pandemic to provide radios to people living on their own.
Outside of work, Lindsey has a wide range of interests, including travel, playing golf, long walks and gardening. She loves being outdoors whilst listening to the radio.
