Our brand project

Nearly a century after we were founded, we’re going to be changing our name and brand to better reflect the life-changing work we do today. We’d love our community to be involved. Find out how you get involved in our re-brand journey.

Our journey so far

Our story started in the 1920s, when blinded war veterans turned to their BWBF braille-dial radio—or ‘wireless’—for company and comfort. Fast forward nearly a century and, though the technology we unlock looks different, we continue to change lives. Last year more than 4,200 people with sight loss found connection with BWBF.

Our re-brand will build on our incredible legacy to better convey the power of what we do today.
