Unlocking local news with TNF
We have worked closely with Talking News Federation (TNF) over many years to make it easy for people living with sight loss to access their local news in audio form.
TNF is an umbrella organisation representing hundreds of 'talking newspapers'. These volunteer-run organisations create audio recordings of local news for people living with sight loss.
This content was traditionally shared with people via a posted USB stick or CD. But, thanks to our partnership with TNF, today we are also able to deliver content for more than 290 local talking newspapers via our Speech Talking Newspaper app.
Anyone living with sight loss can download the app free using the links below to start listening to their local newspaper. You can also access the content via our Alexa Skill - just say "Alexa, enable Talking Newspaper".
