Reaching young people with VICTA

We are proud to partner with VICTA, a national charity that is dedicated to empowering children and young people with sight loss.

Through our collaboration with VICTA, we provide devices to support young people with sight loss in their daily lives, education, and social development.

The technology we have given children through the partnership includes Alexa smart speakers for voice-controlled access to information and entertainment; Voxblock players for accessible audio content and educational materials; and My Little Morphée sleep aids to support healthy sleep patterns and relaxation.

Building a love of science

In early 2025, the Alexa smart speakers we provided helped children and young people participate in an interactive online Science Fair run by VICTA. The event saw VICTA encouraging young people with sight loss to 'ask Alexa' scientific queries and share what they'd learned.

Through this collaboration, we will be making available essential devices that will help blind and partially sighted young people and children to learn, play, and connect with others more independently. At British Wireless for the Blind Fund, we believe that every child deserves access to technology that can enhance their daily lives, and this partnership with VICTA helps us deliver on that commitment.
