Request a device for a child or young person

We now offer a range of devices specifically for children and young people. To receive one of these devices, you will require a referral from a sight loss professional.

If you are a professional who supports a child or young person living with sight loss who you think could benefit from one of our free devices, please complete the form below.

To receive a free device, the recipient must meet the following criteria:

  • Be resident in the UK
  • Be living with Sight Loss
  • Be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independent Payment (PIP) / Attendance Allowance (AA) or Adult Disability Payment (ADP) in Scotland or receives a means-tested benefit (or parent/guardian if under 18).

    I understand that this set is on loan to me, but will remain the property of the British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF) and is therefore returnable on demand to BWBF Head Office. I must also return the set to them if I cease to be eligible.
