Sam joined the charity in 2026 and coordinates the charity's volunteer-led projects and partnerships.

Sam brings both extensive professional expertise and lived experience of sight loss to her role, helping to ensure the charity’s work is shaped by real understanding of the challenges people face.

Sam is known for her strong communication, relationship-building and ability to deliver practical, person-centred support. “I’m passionate about making sure support is shaped by real lived experience as well as professional understanding.”

Outside of work, Sam enjoys creating social media content to raise awareness of sight loss and accessibility, as well as enjoying writing and spending time with her family and animals.
