One of Britain’s best-known presenters and sports journalists, Jim Rosenthal, joins our roll of patrons

Jim features in our latest video showcasing one of our inspirational beneficiaries, Jason, and the enormous difference BWBF can make to people’s lives.

During his extensive career in sport’s journalism JIM ROSENTHAL became one of the best known presenters on British television.  With a background in newspapers and BBC radio he became a familiar guest in the living rooms of millions of sports fans in Britain as he brought them highlights from Formula One motor racing, boxing, football, athletics and rugby.

He has also turned his hand to several minority sports which ITV have covered, including at one time pool, ice skating, equestrian eventing and clay pigeon shooting. More recently he has had to learn about dog agility and flyball – two sports he has mastered for the television coverage of the Crufts dog show.

He has won many industry awards, most recently collecting the Sports Journalist Association award for a lifetime of achievement over a career spanning more than 55 years. He has no intention of giving up a job he loves and which brings constant challenges and new adventures.
