Club donates funds to help those with sight loss

Castle Bromwich and District Lions Club has donated funds to support blind people.

Members of Castle Bromwich and District Lions Club have donated £250 to British Wireless for the Blind Fund.

The money will be used by us to support blind and partially sighted people in the area.

BWBF Regional Manager Sophie Jones visited the club to receive the generous donation.

She also talked about our charity and the service we provide.

Sophie said: “It’s such a huge help to receive local donations like this and we are really grateful to the club for taking the time to consider our appeal.

“The lions do great work all over the world and their support means a great deal to us and of course the local people they will be supporting.”
