Radios for hospitals thanks to trust

A grant from a charitable trust will allow us to provide radios to four hospitals in West Yorkshire.

A grant from the Sovereign Healthcare Charitable Trust has been awarded to BWBF.

The money will allow us to provide one of our specially adapted Concerto 2 sets to four hospitals in West Yorkshire.

Bradford Royal Infirmary, Leeds General Infirmary, St James’ Hospital Leeds and Pinderfields Hospital will all receive one of the radios.

It will allow blind and partially sighted patients to borrow a set during their stay.

This new loan service will mean people with sight loss will not be left without a radio if they cannot operate the standed hospital provided ones.
